I FINALLY received the keys yesterday to my new Riffa Views villa yesterday!  After only about a year or so delay!

They called me last week to set up a time to collect the keys.  We agreed for Monday (today).  I then got a call a few hours later asking if I can come on Sunday instead (yesterday).  They asked me if I could take a commemorative photo with them.  My house was the 150th to be delivered.

Hmmm, I thought, “is my house really the 150th?” I asked.  “Well, not really” came the reply.  “It’s around the 150th,” I was told.  The actual 150th villa was received by an Arcapita employee.  Arcapita is the Islamic bank that owns Riffa Views.  Instead of celebrating this milestone with one of their own, they decided to do it with me instead.  Because of my “celebrity status” my friend the sales manager said jokingly.  They gave me a nice commemorative gift too, nice!  Time to find a renter!
