A couple of days ago my brother in law asked me teasingly, “So, what’s it like being a single mother?”  “Hard work!” I replied.  The wife is in India with a friend, leaving me with the kids.   I’ve done it before of course, but this is the first time since baby Tameem arrived.  I’ve got a seven-and-a-half year old, a six year old, and a one year old.  I love them to death, and I’m enjoing the bonding expereince, but thank God I’m not a mother!  It’s hard work you know!
