More Synchronicity

I’m going through a period where a lot of synchronistic events are happening to me. See the last blog post about this here. This week I had another synchronistic thing happen to me. For the last few days Surah Al-Sharh has been on my mind ( ألم نشرح لك صدرك). Specifically the Ayah (فإن مع العسر يسرا). I wasn’t sure if it was “ma’” or “ba’d” al-’usr.
So I’m walking in the mall the other day with my wife and kids. It was getting late and I hadn’t prayed the afternoon prayer yet, so I left them and went to the mosque in the mall. I prayed the afternoon prayer and decided to wait another 12 minutes for the sunset prayer.
While waiting I picked up a mushaf (Holy Quran) and opened it. It opened exactly on Surah Al-Sharh! Whoa! I thought (If you know the surah you’ll know it’s “ma’ al-’usr”). How synchronistic!
Then later, when the prayer started the imam read Surah Al-Fatiha – followed by Surah Al-Sharh! Is that cool or what?
I love living in a synchronistic universe!
