Pink HOGs…And Teaching Kids How To Stop Bullies
Posted on 02 March 2009 by Suhail
I conducted an anti-bullying seminar in Bayan School on Friday. The event was organised by Zen-Do dad Samir Habib-Allah. It was held on the 27th of February, which is International Stand Up to Bullying Day. People wear pink on this day to show support for the cause of anti-bulling.
Samir is a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) Bahrain chapter. He brought some of his Harley buddies to have a mini-rally. It was quite a site to see these tough Harley guys wearing pink! I talked to some of the kids and their parents about the six steps children can use to stop bullies. The kids loved it, and I think they learnt a lot.
Here’s a video showing some of the highlights.

FYI, at Zen-Do we conduct such seminars weekly, absolutely free of charge. We do them in-house in Al-Hamala, or we can do them at a school. For more information call us on 17611909. Remember to check out ZenDoForKids.com for more free anti-bullying and anti-child molestation information.
