It seems the name “Shikoba” was a bit difficult for the kids to remember, so I’ve renamed the bird Cookie!  A lot easier to remember, especially for a 4 and 1/2 and 6 and 1/2 year old.

The bird has not started singing so most likely he’s a she.  Today she finally ate from my hand!  I’ll tame that bird yet… inshallah.
